Capture the art of life and nature in a snapshot with Lake Ballinger Center's new Photography Club! We're shutter-bugs at heart, and we're calling all fellow enthusiasts to join our aperture-friendly community. Set in the picturesque backdrop of Lake Ballinger park, boasting a blend of natural beauty and the impressive rehabilitated landscapes by the army corps of engineers, it's the perfect setting for photo buffs to focus on their craft.
From novice photographers still learning their ISO from their f-stops, to seasoned pros with a keen eye for the perfect composition, our club welcomes all skill levels. Dive into discussions on the latest techniques, share your best shots, and learn from fellow members. And not just that, the club aims to host workshops, field trips, and photo contests to keep your creative juices flowing.
But what's a good photo session without a good meal, right? Our club is more than just clicks and flashes. For a modest fee of $3 for Lake Ballinger Center members and $4 for non-members, which includes a heartwarming cup of coffee, you can join this click-happy community. Add to that our tasty $4 lunches on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and you've got the perfect blend of food and photography! However, before we can say 'cheese', we need your input on the preferred days and times to inaugurate our Photography Club. So, help us frame this club to your liking by giving us your feedback!
