Operations & Administrative Roles & Tasks

Graphic Design

  • Help us reach the masses with quality meaningful messaging

Social Media Specialist

  • Identify markets and channels for various events and secure marketing.

  • Prepare and submit to staff recommendations of facebook and other social media posts.

  • Photos. Take and submit to our google album, flattering photos of events.

  • Clean Team

  • Volunteer Coordinator (10 hours / week)

  • Marketing and Socials (5 hours / week)

    • Identify markets for

  • Program Director (10 hrs / week )

    • Review current program schedule

    • Propose new programs

    • Activate Programs (spin-up including preparation of marketing material and identifying some initial marketing channels / outlets)

  • Graphic Design - marketing material, layouts, logo refresh.

  • Social Media Specialist - manage our social media, prepare posts and graphics. Keep us up-to-date on the local goings on in Mountlake Terrace so we can share it with members and followers.

Helping Hands

  • In the Kitchen (Lunch Day) Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

    • Cleanup Duty:

      • setting out and monitoring the bussing station

      • running loads of dishes in our commercial dishwasher

  • Sign-in Desk

  • Weekend Event Monitor - Special role, requires special training.

Trades - Repairs here and there.

Sign-in Desk (Weekdays)

Lots of guest interaction. The job will be tailored to the volunteer, consider the bullets as each “level” of front-desk. We’re accepting all levels.

  1. Greet guests as they enter

  2. Answer Basic questions about the center and programs

  3. Sign-in Desk (+ Cashier Skill) Payment for daily activity fee, memberships & punch cards.

Event Monitor (Evenings & Weekends)

Special role, requires special training. and the ability to perform all of the above duties Depending on the event and your familiarity with our processes, this could be a paid role.
